Fencing is commonly installed with tennis court facilities to keep the area secure and to prevent the loss of equipment during training and competitions.
Since our Tenecon All Weather Surfaces are applied with a soft rubber squeegee, the coloured surface coatings tend to “wipe off” when the surface is old, smooth and polished. Active players and high traffic counts will speed up wear of the surfaces, this results in thinner surface layers that won’t last as long and definitely impacts how often the tennis court should be resurfaced. If this is known before resurfacing, talk to us and we can offer recommendations or prepare a custom scope of work tailored to your facility. Extra coats may be recommended to extend the life of your tennis court surfaces.

Great choice for courts that are part of facilities where other ball games are played. Fence stays stable and strong in areas of high impact. Available in wide range heights including 3 meter to 5 meter height. A great anti-vandal option. Available in Green and Black.
There are many Fencing options available to fit all budgets and requirements with costs, prices and specification of Fencing as we have explained, but the choice of Fence is often determined by which sport will be played on the Facility.
As Specialist Contractors we usually include the supply and installation of fences within the whole package, we will specify and outline the details including the height, materials and amount of gates required. With majority of single courts having one single leaf gate and possibly one double leaf gate for maintenance purposes. The dimensions of your court will obviously determine the measurements and distances of fence required to the perimeter of the court which may be specified in a range of colours however our “Tenecon Green” colour is the most common specification.
If the fence is just set to surround and enclose a sport facility then chain link will be more than a suitable option. On an area such as our Sports Courts, there are a number of sports played within the venue other than tennis. Consideration should be given to more stable and solid barriers systems such as Nylon Cricket Netting, this option will add to the playing characteristics of other sports like football as well as being more hard wearing and durable in areas of high impact. The height could also have an impact on your sports fencing choice, a common height of fence enclosures for tennis courts and Multi Use Games Areas is 3.6 meters high but in areas surrounded houses or near cars it is possible fences can be installed higher up to 5m in height in some cases.
